Today, the children in foundation phase celebrated a Welsh Culture Day with visiting harpist Bethan Nia. A variety of Welsh songs were sung whilst Bethan played the harp. Afterwards the children had a go themselves on the small harps. They all had a wonderful time.

Christmas Unwrapped

Year 2 have had the most wonderful festive time at Temple Baptist Church for Christmas Unwrapped. The children had a brilliant time creating Christmas cards, mince pies and reenacting the Nativity story. Many thanks to the church for their generosity.

Picasso

We looked at a famous artist called Picasso today. He paints faces. We had a go at drawing faces in the style of Picasso. We think we did a very good job!

Lidl

Today we visited Lidl to look for healthy food to make healthy lunchboxes. We searched all of the store and filled our trolley up with healthy items. We looked at the prices to work out how much each sandwich would cost.

Having fun on the large apparatus!

Year 1 loved using the apparatus to pretend to be fire fighters. They were dodging the fire, climbing the ladder and crawling away from danger!!

Our trip to Techniquest

On our recent trip to Techniquest we learnt about ourselves as our topic is 'All About Me'. We saw a show which was all about exploring our bodies. We then had a lot of fun exploring all the science projects around Techniquest. Take a look at our photos below and on the link.

Supertatoes!!!!!!

We loved creating our own Supertato character today. Each creation was inspired by a superhero in their own families. Well done everyone, they're great!
